王骥教授在国际会议WCEOGPE 2019做大会报告

2019328日,在意大利米兰召开的2019 World Congress and Expo on Oil, Gas, and Petroleum Engineering (WCEOGPE 2019)上,王骥教授应邀做大会报告,介绍压电器件实验室近期在石英晶体声波谐振器新切型方面的研究工作进展,包括显著优于目前已知技术的表面波新切型。王骥教授的研究工作和用于较宽温度范围的传感器技术密切相关,深受近来非常热门的能源开发和加工技术领域关注。通过这次大会报告,王骥教授介绍了压电实验室在石英晶体新切型用于声波谐振器方面的研究结果,指出有一些新的切型具有优越的温度稳定性,值得进一步探索,为一些特别应用提供新颖的石英晶体谐振器和传感器,可以让器件更加高效和灵敏。王骥教授的报告引起了一些研究人员和研究生的兴趣,他在报告后和一些与会人员进行了深入讨论。特别是来自国际石油技术巨头斯伦贝谢(Schlumberger)的技术人员,提到在石油探测、开采和加工等过程中需要大量的不同工作温度的传感器,这里的技术有利于优化目前的传感器结构,有很大的应用潜力。来自俄罗斯Lomonosov莫斯科国立大学的研究人员也表示愿意加强交流,开展在新型硫化氢传感器技术方面的合作。

这次会议的大会报告人还包括来自石油和天然气技术领域的许多国家和跨国公司,包括中石油等,主题是油气产业的新技术,是一个多学科交叉的国际会议。

 

Professor Ji Wang Presented Plenary Talk at the WCEOGPE 2019

March 28, 2019, Professor Ji Wang presented a plenary talk at the 2019 World Congress and Expo on Oil, Gas, and Petroleum Engineering (WCEOGPE 2019), Milan, Italy, on recent research activities in the optimal cuts of quartz crystal for acoustic wave resonators and sensor applications at the Piezoelectric Device Laboratory, Ningbo University.  With research focus on piezoelectric acoustic wave sensors, there have been significant progresses on novel cuts of quartz crystal for resonators and sensors with improved thermal stability and operating temperature range, making it is possible to enhance the efficiency and sensitivity of new products for emerging and special applications.  Particularly, Professor Wang talked latest findings of optimal cuts of quartz crystal for surface acoustic wave (SAW) resonators. Professor Wang’s talk inspired some interests among many people working on oil and gas technology with follow-up discussions after the session throughout the conference. Engineers from Schlumberger are interested in possible sensors at different temperatures in the process of oil discovery and production. Lomonosov Moscow State University researchers are interested in collaborating for the sensors in oil refinery and production.

The WCEOGPE 2019 is an international conference with interdisciplinary participation worldwide in the old and gas industry including MNCs like Schlumberger and CNPC from China.
